1 Oct 2006 - John calls it a day as Tournament Secretary
After 30 years running the Leigh & Westcliff tournaments John finally lets go of the reigns. This long and distinguished run from a man that has been a loyal and dedicated servant to the association since 1976 surely will never be equalled.
Thankfully John stays on the committee as Trophy Secretary. This position was part and parcel of the Tournament Secretaries duties for much of the 30 years, so John has plenty of experience with the cups. WELL DONE JOHN AND THANK YOU FROM EVERYONE THAT HAS ENJOYED YOUR TOURNAMENTS.
Andrew Gardiner now takes on the Tournament Secretaries position and I know John will always be there to lend a helping hand should it be needed.
