28 Sep 2007 - THE ANNUAL PRESENTATION DINNER & DANCE
219 people attended. Great night at the new venue, Saxon Hall. Food was very good, surroundings perfect, staff extremely helpful. Our normal disco 'The Paul Brandon Disco Road Show' was good as always, he had the dance floor buzzing all evening right through to 1 a.m.
Andrew Gardiner spent the morning at Saxon Hall with Dave Lincoln setting everything up.
John Tanner (Trophy Secretary) organized all the engraving on the trophies and displayed them as shown. Debbie Rose, committee member sold the raffle tickets with colleagues from her club.
Vic Trigwell (President) Margaret Gabe Committee Member, and David Lincoln presented the 89 Trophies in record time. David Lincoln was the event organizer and MC and reports that the evening was a great success with no moans up to now. The Wine bar was under staffed as three phoned in sick.
Kitty Livingston was presented with a lovely bouquet of flowers for the help she gives me within the association by Peter Jackson, the Chairman of the L.&.W.
Raffle prizes were donated by advertisers in the presentation menu and £484 was raised.
